Legal Support
The Disability Rights Advocate Center offers legal counseling and support for individuals who have experienced discrimination or human rights violations based on disability, age, gender, or other forms of social marginalization. We frequently represent victims in criminal cases and often collaborate with advocacy organizations supporting persons with disabilities, children, and women to respond collectively and effectively.
Policy Advocacy
We are actively engaged in efforts to improve laws and systems that protect the rights of marginalized individuals and communities. Our work includes conducting research and consulting on legal projects, drafting manuals and guidelines, reviewing legislation, analyzing findings from human rights investigations, and publishing legal columns and essays on related topics.
Empowerment Through Education
We offer customized human rights education tailored to each requester’s needs.
Programs include training on disability awareness, rights of minors, child abuse prevention, legal support for survivors of sexual violence and harassment, and gender sensitivity. We also provide sessions on anti-discrimination, victim support practices, public interest advocacy, inclusive workplace culture, and self-advocacy. Each session is designed to foster understanding, respect, and empowerment.
